Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 29, 2026 · Version 2026-05-29

This Privacy Policy explains how Lamingo Gen LLC (“Lamingo,” “we,” “us”), the operator of Figlime (the “Service”), collects, uses, and shares information. It applies to our websites and applications, including rise2.ai, figlime.com, figlime.rise2.ai, and their subdomains. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Our Role: Controller vs. Processor

Figlime is used by employers and recruiters (“Customers”) to screen candidates. For candidate personal data submitted or processed through a Customer’s workspace, the Customer is the data controller and Lamingo acts as a processor / service providerthat processes that data on the Customer’s behalf and under their instructions. If you are a candidate, please direct requests about your data to the employer or recruiter you applied to; we will support them in responding.

For information about our own websites, accounts, and business operations (for example, Customer account holders and site visitors), Lamingo acts as the controller, as described below.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account data — name, email, organization, role, and credentials when you sign up or sign in (including via third-party identity providers such as Google).
  • Customer configuration — job details, screening questions, compliance gates, and integration settings you configure.
  • Candidate data— information processed during screening, which may include a candidate’s name, contact details, responses to screening questions, conversation transcripts, and any data synced from a connected ATS.
  • Communications — messages you send to us, including support requests.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage & device data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and actions taken, collected through logs and similar technologies.
  • Agreement records — when you accept our Terms or this Policy, we record the version accepted, a timestamp, and the IP address and user-agent of the request, to evidence your agreement and help prevent fraud.
  • Cookies & similar technologies — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Service, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser; some features may not work without them.

Information from third parties

  • Integrations — data from ATS providers, identity providers, and other services you connect, used to provide the Service.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service;
  • orchestrate screening conversations and generate AI-assisted summaries and suggestions to support human reviewers, at the Customer’s direction. The Service organizes candidate responses for a person to evaluate; it does not score, rank, or make automated hiring decisions about candidates;
  • authenticate users and manage accounts and workspaces;
  • provide support and respond to inquiries;
  • monitor, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve the Service;
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

AI processing.The Service uses AI models, including third-party model providers, to process screening content. We do not permit candidate personal data to be used to train third-party providers’ foundation models except where a provider is contractually restricted from doing so, and we configure providers to disable training on submitted data where such controls are available. We process candidate data to provide the Service and on the instructions of our Customers; we do not sell personal information.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

  • Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, infrastructure, database (e.g., Firebase / Google Cloud), AI model providers, and analytics vendors that process data on our behalf under contract.
  • With the Customer — candidate data is shared with the Customer whose workspace processed it.
  • Integrations you enable — we exchange data with third-party services you choose to connect.
  • Legal & safety — when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lamingo, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Candidate screening data (including names, contact details, and responses) is retained for a default period and then automatically deleted, unless the Customer configures a different period for their hiring processes or a longer period is required by law. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Candidates and Customers may request deletion of candidate data at any time (see “Your Rights” below).

6. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and encrypted storage of sensitive secrets. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for configuring access within your workspace appropriately.

7. International Data Transfers

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to countries with different data-protection laws than your own.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California, the EEA/UK, and certain other jurisdictions have specific rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, and UK GDPR. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Candidates: because the employer or recruiter is the controller of your screening data, please submit requests to them directly. We will assist Customers in fulfilling valid requests. For data where Lamingo is the controller, contact us using the details below.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can delete it.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service links to and integrates with third-party services that have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for those practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
